Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy (PCV), a subtype of neovascular Age-related Macular Degenerationn (AMD) is disease characterized by persistent, recurrent serous leakage and hemorrhage in the macular area, mostly seen elderly population. While contemporary science offers anti Vasculo Endothelial Growth Factor (VEG-F) monotherapy combination with Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), outcomes these remain doubtful. Repeated anti-VEG-F injections not only cause financial mental burden on patients no or very little visual outcome. Chronicity paves way to complete loss vision due exudative retinal detachment. Symptoms like Raktavatdristi (to visualize things as if through column blood), Pashyatiaasyamanaasikam (unable recognize faces people around) aaviladarshanam (blurred vision) were suggestive Raktaja Timira (an eye caused Raktadosa) associated Kaphadushti), according Ayurveda. A 77-year-old male patient diagnosed PCV sought Ayurvedic treatment after being advised undergo therapy for 3rd time row. At end 3 months treatment, his acuity right improved 6/6, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) affirmed normalcy macula Fundus examination confirmed absence neovascularization. effective reversing process neovascularization, thereby bringing about marked outcome PCV. Such should be encouraged adopt instead expensive invasive procedures intra-vitreal even when absolute effects
